My name is Kate. I am a primary school teacher and founder of The Teacher Store - your one-stop-shop for beautiful and practical products for teachers.

I have been a teacher for 7 wonderful years and counting. I, like you, have had ‘those’ days as a teacher. I’ve battled the photocopier on a Monday morning and I’ve fallen into a heap with a glass of wine on a Friday night. But like most of us, I believe the positives outweigh those hard days. There is no job quite like teaching. It is one of the hardest, yet most beautifully rewarding jobs on the planet.

In the midst of launching The Teacher Store in 2o23, I found out that I would also become a mum for the very first time. I am now juggling mum life and while I’m off duty this year, I am so grateful that The Teacher Store is keeping me in the classroom and in a way, keeping me connected to amazing teachers all around the country!
